“Our guide Karim was really excellent and made sure everyone got taken care for. He knows where the monkeys live and visiting them was an experience. If you’re afraid of the monkeys you can stay further and observe from a distance; otherwise they will jump on your kayak but otherwise behave well. We considered whether to go kayaking alone or with a group and in the end were happy to have a guide”

“It’s like an unorganized/organized trip which was fine. First you’re off to the mangroves which is an additional 600 baht for 2-person kayak or 1200 baht for a ride on the long tail. We chose the kayak and spent an hour of free time kayaking around the mangrove. Then we briefly saw the batik workshop but spent only minutes observing and the rest of the time was walking around Old Town. It’s worth the money and time as you’re able to see/do about 3 things in about 6 hours time.”

“This trip info promised english speaking guide and lifejackets, I got none. Problem was that nobody spoke english there. I got private ”tour” with this young boy who didn’t speak english at all. He was nice and kind even though we didn’t have mutual language. But I wouldn’t pay for this again.”
